I try to shrug this off as a million different things pull me in a million different directions almost every second of every day. I'm a self-employed photographer/journalist, part-time nanny, full-time dog owner, innate do-gooder and now, apparently, a blogger. For the next three months I'm also working part-time at the Nevada Appeal, redesigning my train wreck of a website, kicking my marketing strategy into top gear, dancing in the Incline Schools annual fundraiser, Star Follies, and with any luck, I'll find some time to breathe.
Of course, it helps that the air I breathe is that fresh, cool mountain air of the Sierra Nevada. Which is why I was reluctant to take on yet another digital leash that will probably keep me tied to my computer. Nonetheless, I think it's time to embark on this madcap journey of blogging that will show clients and colleagues alike that my work is growing, changing, and so am I. If I can even inspire one person to be better, do better or take better pictures this whole thing will be worth it.
I can't promise that I'll update every day or even every week - my life has me constantly on the run, stoking those fires. And I love it, for sure. But I'll try my best to post about new experiences, ideas and of course, photographs.
And away we go...
